History of the Medical Center
The building that now houses the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise «Primary Health Care Center» of Chortkiv is an architectural monument of local significance. It forms part of the historical ensemble of the street and harmoniously neighbors other architectural landmarks. Constructed in 1910 as a stone community hospital, the building became an important element of Chortkiv’s medical infrastructure.
The official opening of the hospital took place on September 15, 1910, with the participation of Mayor Ludwig Noss.
Since June 21, 2012, the «Primary Health Care Center» of Chortkiv has been operating here. Until January 1, 2021, the institution had district status and was under the authority of the Chortkiv District Council. Following the administrative and territorial reform, it came under the ownership of the Chortkiv City Council.
